Native

Youth

to

College

Sponsored by Pitzer College and Western University of Health Sciences, the Native Youth to College program is designed to support Native American high school students in their transition to college.

Student participants have been central to the development and continuance of the Tongva Living History Garden, as can be seen in the photo-journal below. The days spent working at the Tongva Living History Garden incorporate tribal and academic ways of learning into the curriculum of the Native Youth to College program.
